The Qur’an explains the symbols of Religion and ritual clearly, it begins in this verse: 22:31 Inclining to Allah (Not God) alone, associating none with the most merciful. For whoever ascribes partners to Allah (not God), it is as if he has fallen from the sky and the birds snatch him or the wind blows him to far-off places. So this is commonly understood, Allah can have no partners, only the energy (knowledge) of Allah exists within our cognitive sphere of veracity, beyond that no one can say, to ascribe fantasy and misconceptions to the concepts of Allah will snatch you from the correct path of understanding. As I have explained in other essay’s, Allah (Not God) is an overarching dichotomy, between this dichotomy all realities exist. The dichotomy is absolute pure nothingness held in tension, with the absolute of the whole. This means no God could exist, as they would exist within this overarching dichotomy, therefore could not be the creator; not God is the creator, being the single overarching dichotomy. The first and the last, the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the I am to the I am not, each description, describes, a dichotomy. 22:32 Such is his state. And anyone who honours the symbols set up by Allah (Not God) must know that mere honouring these symbols is of no value without righteousness of the heart. 22:32 That. And whoever honours the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts. I have given two translations of the same verse, it tells us that you only need the symbols (being something that represents something else, an abstraction), of religion if you have not developed beyond this, you remain in the concept of a religion. The second translation is clearer, the symbols, and rituals of religion are unreasoned, simply emotional, repetition and form, conformity and lack of concern; however, sympathetically, if performed with good intension, are of some small value; having good intension derived from the heart, being a simple emotional desire to conform and participate, Allah is generous and demands little from us, but we harbour a potential that remains untapped if only good intension is achieved, the most Merciful encourages you to explore that potential, without compulsion. In the evolutionary process, enacting throughout the universe, all things are transformed from state to state, the overarching dichotomy wastes nothing, knowledge is in a constant, dynamic flux of transformation, transmutation, transmogrification, transduction, transubstantiation and organic transcription, in our case this transformation would be as conscious understanding allows, so upon the comprehension of the underlying processes, it would transform rituals into practical and purposeful actions, without the need for blindly following through the practice of religious ceremony, and so expanding and developing these fundamental concepts of the system, if indeed the ritual is based in fact, in the outset. 22:35 The truly humble are those whose hearts tremble with awe whenever Allah (Not God) is mentioned (8:2). And they steadfastly bear whatever ill befalls them. And they constantly strive to establish and consolidate the Divine System and spend the wealth that We have given them, on their fellow human beings. Here Allah continues on from 22:34 and tells you of the second level of consciousness, describing the evolution of those that are humble, and points out it is an excellent condition, those humble in nature, a state of being Muslim, as opposed to a religious state of dogma, ritual, blind faith and conformity. It is difficult to abandon something that is comfortable and familiar, socially dominant, traditionally established and supported widely. To follow the path of the Muslim, a person in submission to the guidance of the Qur’an alone. 22:38 Surely, Allah (Not God) will defend the community of true believers. Indeed, Allah (Not God) does not love those who betray the Divine System ordained in this Book (the Qur‘an), and thus show ingratitude for the magnificent guidance they have received. Islam is not a dead religion of ceremonial policy, it is a Deen, a way of life, a complete guide to this world, political, legal, social, economic, moral, and personal, nowhere is it religious. Religion compartmentalises Islam into a powerless, arcane, folly, but Islam is a dynamic, presentation of concepts and principles, expressed so, to be adaptable to every historical manifestation of humanity. It should be viewed in this manor, as a system to follow, within the comprehension of its concepts, to implement them to best suit the community, we as human beings wish to establish. |
