Surah 95: 1             وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ

How miserable and weary are the ones bruised and broken into small particles; and the ones enduring in this state for a very large unspecified number of years.

95:1 Witnesses are the Fig and the Olive.

95:1 By the fig and the olive.

95:1 CONSIDER the fig and the olive,

95:1 By the fig and the olive.

Surah 95: 2             وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

In a state and condition like a tree (unable to move, rooted in their misery).

95:2 And Mount Sinai.

95:2 Mount Sinai.

95:2 By Mount Sinai,

95:2 And the Mount of Sinai,

95:2 and Mount Sinai,

95:2 And the mount of ages.

Surah 95: 3             وَهَذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ

And, your companions, lagging behind in my physical realm; become confounded, perplexed and unable to see the right course. Such ones should take charge over this situation; to become trusted and confided with power, authority, control and to take charge of affairs.

95:3 And now, (O Messenger!) this land of security and peace.

95:3 And this honored town (Mecca).

95:3 And by this land made safe;

95:3 And this City of security,--

95:3 and this land secure! -

95:3 And this secure land.

Surah 95: 4             لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

Assuredly, we measured and proportioned them to become sociable, companionable, friendly and amicable; with the best, most beautiful and somewhat large, exceptionally good, calculations.

95:4 Indeed, We have created the human being in the best design

95:4 We created man in the best design.

95:4 Surely We created man of the best stature

95:4 We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,

95:4 Verily, We create man in the best conformation;

95:4 We have created mankind in the best form.

Surah 95: 5             ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ

After that measured creation, they reject and repel us, and return back time after time, to be amongst who are the lowest of the low, and the meanest of the mean.

95:5 Then We turn him to the lowest of low.

95:5 Then turned him into the lowliest of the lowly.

95:5 Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low,

95:5 Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-

95:5 and thereafter We reduce him to the lowest of low

95:5 Then We returned him to the lowest of the low.

Surah 95: 6             إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

Except for such ones who have become safe, secure and tranquil in heart and mind; and worked and laboured to be in this state of order, by being incorruptible, just and honest. Therefore, for them is recompense and reward for what they have done, other than what they mediate in their mind.

95:6 Except those who choose to be graced with belief, and work to increase the human potential - theirs is a reward unending.

95:6 Except those who believe and lead a righteous life; they receive a reward that is well deserved.

95:6 Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing.

95:6 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

95:6 excepting only such as attain to faith and do good works: and theirs shall be a reward unending!

95:6 Except those who have believed and done good work, they will have a reward of thanks.

Surah 95: 7             فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ

What then, if you give an untrue account or relations of things, weather intentionally or unintentionally; even after you are removed a distance from my guiding customs and traditions?

95:7 What, then, can make you deny the Divine System and the Final Judgment?

95:7 Why do you still reject the faith?

95:7 So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment?

95:7 Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?

95:7 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law?

95:7 So what would make you deny the system after that?

Surah 95: 8             أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ

These are not acting for the One who is not a deity for worship and adoration. Be with the most qualified and most knowing of the judges; prevented and restrained from acting in an evil, corrupt manner, or from doing what you lust.

95:8 Is not God the Sovereign of the sovereigns, the Wisest of the wise, the Best of all judges?

95:8 Is GOD not the Most Wise, of all the wise ones?

95:8 Is not Allah the most conclusive of all judges?

95:8 Is not Allah the wisest of judges?

95:8 Is not God the most just of judges?

95:8 Is God not the wisest of the wise?
