Surah 111: 1             تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

You do not perceive through your eyes and mind, how everything originated from your Rabb (Sustainer, Maintainer, Fosterer and Accomplisher); those ones who are containing error, weak in judgements and opinions side by side with their accomplices and companions?

111:1 Perished is the power of Abi Lahab, and perished is he!

111:1 Condemned are the works of Abee Lahab, and he is condemned.

111:1 The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish.

111:1 Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!

111:1 DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he!

111:1 Condemned is the hand of Abu-Lahab; condemned indeed.

Surah 111: 2             مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ

Has not the One created and brought all into existence, and yet they deceive, beguile and circumvent this.  This causes them to be in error and to stray from the right course and true path.

111:2 His wealth and gains will avail him not!

111:2 His money and whatever he has accomplished will never help him.

111:2 His wealth and gains will not exempt him.

111:2 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains!

111:2 What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained?

111:2 His money will not avail him, nor what he has earned.

Surah 111: 3             سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ

And whenever ease was brought upon them, due to the message; they fled from it, as dispersed multitudes, each blindly following another.

111:3 He shall have to endure a fire blazing, glowing.

111:3 He has incurred the blazing Hell.

111:3 He will be plunged in flaming fire,

111:3 Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame!

111:3 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing;

111:3 He will be sent to a flaming Fire.

Surah 111: 4              وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ

They cast away the message from their grasp, furthermore to the extreme they hinder, prevent and prohibit others from what is in this written declaration.

111:4 And his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales, the firewood hauler.

111:4 Also his wife, who led the persecution.

111:4 And his wife, the wood carrier,

111:4 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!-

111:4 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales,

111:4 And his wife who carries the logs.

Surah 111: 5             فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ

Consequently their existence will become like digested food blown away by violent winds.

111:5 Will have her neck ornamented with a rope of palm-fiber.

111:5 She will be (resurrected) with a rope of thorns around her neck.

111:5 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm fibre.

111:5 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!

111:5 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands!

111:5 On her neck will be a rope of thorns.
