Surah 93: 1 وَالضُّحَى And, the bright light - 93:1 [O Sincere human being!] Consider the Daylight. 93:1 By the forenoon. 93:1 By the morning hours 93:1 By the Glorious Morning Light, 93:1 CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 93:1 By the late morning. Surah 93: 2 وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى - from the darkness, when light becomes extensive and covers everything. 93:2 And the night when it is still. (There is light at the end of the tunnel and with hardship is ease, like there is Daybreak after the Night.) 93:2 By the night as it falls. 93:2 And by the night when it is stillest, 93:2 And by the Night when it is still,- 93:2 and the night when it grows still and dark. 93:2 And the night when it falls. Surah 93: 3 مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَsلَى What affected you, that you repel this bright light, sent from your Sustainer, Maintainer and Fosterer, you repelled it harshly and violently; and what grudge drives you away. 93:3 Your Lord has never forsaken you, nor did He ever forget you. 93:3 Your Lord never abandoned you, nor did He forget. 93:3 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 93:3 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 93:3 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 93:3 Your Lord has not left you, nor did He forget. Surah 93: 4 وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَى And isn’t, if you follow my guidance, the conclusion good, both morally and physically, for you. Be among whom return and revert to me. 93:4 And certainly, the life to come is better for you than this one. 93:4 The Hereafter is far better for you than this first (life). 93:4 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former 93:4 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 93:4 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 93:4 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first. Surah 93: 5 وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى And you should promise to be true-hearted and continue to aid and assist your Sustainer, Maintainer and Fosterer; because of this, you should be well pleased, and contented regarding all advantage, with liking and approving. 93:5 And certainly, soon will your Lord grant you (the success) so that you will be well-pleased. 93:5 And your Lord will give you enough; you will be pleased. 93:5 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 93:5 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 93:5 And, indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires], and thou shalt be well-pleased. 93:5 And your Lord will give you and you will be pleased. Surah 93: 6 أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَى You should not cut yourself off from reason, or end your life in consequence of love of lusts, and become disordered; consequently, unable to return to me. 93:6 Did He not find you an orphan and gave you shelter? 93:6 Did He not find you orphaned and He gave you a home? 93:6 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 93:6 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 93:6 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 93:6 Did he not find you an orphan and He sheltered you? Surah 93: 7 وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَى And you found truth, you perceived and discovered it, but erred or went astray from the right course. Haven’t they slept their lives away and formed false belief (shirked), pretended themselves, heedless of what was necessary to be done for me. 93:7 Did He not find you looking for guidance, and showed you the way. 93:7 He found you astray, and guided you. 93.7 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 93:7 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 93:7 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 93:7 And He found you lost, and He guided you? Surah 93: 8 وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَى And you found truth, you perceived and discovered it. Then you become dependent on it, for sustenance. Consequently this causes you to be in a state of abundance, competence and sufficiency from me. 93:8 Did He not find you dependent, and made you independent. 93:8 He found you poor, and made you rich. 93:8 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 93:8 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 93:8 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 93:8 And He found you in need, so He gave you riches? Surah 93: 9 فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ As for the ones, who departed reason and became disordered as a consequence of love of lusts. Wouldn’t their future continue to overcome, conquer, prevail and rule over them. 93:9 So, you too shall not treat harshly any orphan, widow, the helpless and he who feels left alone in the society. 93:9 Therefore, you shall not forsake the orphan. 93.9 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 93:9 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 93:9 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 93:9 As for the orphan, you shall not make him sad. Surah 93: 10 وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ Whatever may be their situation, those who are asking or inquiring for truth, shouldn’t you spread light to them? 93:10 And never shall you repulse him who seeks help. 93:10 Nor shall you reprimand the beggar. 93:10 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 93:10 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 93:10 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 93:10 And as for the beggar, you shall not reprimand. Surah 93: 11 وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ And in all events, be within the blessing and bounty of your Sustainer, Maintainer and Fosterer; blessings intended and proposed to be soft and easy. 93:11 But the blessings of your Lord you shall speak of by sharing. 93:11 You shall proclaim the blessing your Lord has bestowed upon you. 93.11 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 93:11 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 93:11 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 93:11 And you shall proclaim the blessings from your Lord. |
